Adventures in Faith Ministries, Inc.

          Adventures in Faith was established to help those folks who desire to develop and build on their faith.  To enable all those we come to meet to reach their full potential in Christ.  To reach the whole man or woman and to minister to their hearts while meeting their needs when resources allow.  We are a ministry based on compassion and faith.  A church cannot reach other countries and neglect their  own community.  We must as a church start at home before we go out into other parts of the world.  Adventures in Faith Ministries, Inc. has been around for many years starting in Morehead City, North Carolina, then moving to Atlantic Beach, NC, then to Harrisonburg, VA and finally to Arkansas.

Matthew 28:19-20

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

          Our goal is to bring families closer together so that God’s Word can bring growth and spiritual fulfillment to the home, community and church.  During the last ten or so years we have seen a serious decline in the American Family.  We have seen strife in the home, community and church and if God is going to pour out his blessings on the church and in our homes we have to come into unity with the teachings of God’s Word.  We can’t keep living as we have and expect God to bless us. 

          We are in the process of locating a new home for this ministry, Our ministry staff have been looking in Blytheville, Arkansas,  we need space for a clothes closet, food pantry and for our teaching ministry.  God has placed it on our hearts to provide for the physical and spiritual needs of our neighbors.  We need clothing, Food, and funds to accomplish this mission.  God has given us a burden to help those who find themselves in a situation where they can't get help from others because many of the fine groups that help as we try to do only meet once a month to decide on applications and this is primarily because of a lack of volunteers to run their programs.  We love these folks as they do a wonderful work. 

          We have been called to love folks and to show them the way  to Jesus Christ as we have found that if our brothers and sisters have stresses in their lives where they worry about where they will get their next meal, or how they will pay their rent or utilities it takes their mind away from thinking about their eternity.

What We Do

 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
